Laura has worked in some form of education for over 12 years. She began as a barber instructor and transitioned into child development. After working as an Early Head Start teacher, she saw a need for quality nature-based childcare programs in Oklahoma City. Laura's approach to education is holistic. She believes that by supporting the whole child, you should support the family and the community they live in.

Laura has an Associate's degree in Early Child Care and Development with a Certificate of Mastery in Infant and Toddler Development. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Intervention and Child Development.

From directing a church nursery program or working in a Mother's Day Out program to working with high school students with special needs, Lesli contributes years of experience working with children to Terra.Child.

Lesli is currently completing the Pyramid Model training-- a framework of evidence-based practices for promoting young children's healthy social and emotional development.
