The idea of 'Earth Child' is holistic, promoting messages of respect for our community and the planet. We teach values like inclusion, empathy, and ongoing, enthusiastic learning.
Terra.Child is grounded in fully inclusive, individualized learning with respect for each other and the earth. Many of our individualized lessons are rooted in nature and exploration outdoors.
Healthy Meals
The children at Terra.Child are introduced to a variety of fruits and vegetables and have the opportunity to grow their own food.
Terra.Child participates in the CACFP and is dedicated to using plant-based proteins.
Child-driven creativity
Terra.Child uses the Project Approach to design a curriculum that aligns children's interests with developmentally appropriate challenges and lessons in a nature-based setting.
We encourage natural curiosity and promote critical thinking.
School Readiness
In addition to literacy, art, math, and science, we believe that social skills are a very important aspect of school readiness.
At Terra.Child we teach these skills by utilizing Conscious Discipline activities and positive guidance.
